The day before the race. I'm feeling really fatigued. Probably because Monday night I slept very little...like maybe 2hrs. So I'm feeling tired, my legs are heavy and I'm stiff and sore. Great for the mental aspects of racing, especially the day before a big race.:)
I go ahead and do my training, which is 2 miles with 4-5 strides and some stretching. Try to get mentally focused etc... As the day goes on I start feeling better physically and now just deal with how much fuel I put into my body. Register for the race, drive the course to mark out the mile splits and feel even better mentally and physically, just getting all that behind me.
