MILESTONE for me!

So I completed my first 100 mile week this past week. I may looked knocked out in the photo but was just a little fatigued as it was right after doing 16 trail miles.
It's a cool milestone to reach but most elite runners do this mileage..some all road miles..so not a big thing in the running community..but it was my first, with many more to come.

Had great training partners too...Ted..who just placed 2nd today at the Flying Monkey Marathon..in 2:50. Chris and Amy and Maureen and Eric and many others who share the road and time with me , and it's really appreciated!! So thanks..you know who you are!

Had another interesting, fun shake the legs out run today..did the 11.2 mile loop and not only did we get to see the marathoners do their thing, as we ran backwards on the course...we passed the Governor of Tennessee running(with his bodyguard of course) and then we see this Rabid coyote..running straight at us..then he veered off a little but didn't seem to concerned..stayed in site as we passed by.

So my week looked like this:
Sun-11 miles
Mon-(triple) 3 miles a.m. 3 miles at noon 3 miles in p.m.
Tue-(double) 5 miles in morning 9 miles in afternoon
Wed-(double) 10 miles morning 10 miles evening
Thu-(double) 3 miles a.m. 10 miles p..m
Fri-(double) 12 miles a.m. 5 miles p.m.
Sat-16 miles
TOTAL: 100 MILES
