Saturday I finished the week with a 16 mile trail run with THE ATHLETE'S HOUSE group. Always a good run with them and big thanks to Eric who helped me run a 1:47 (my best yet) as he keeps the pace high but not too extreme. Plus I find myself recovering better after these runs.
Saturday's afternoon recovery was at Robbie's pool along with Jeremy, Steph and Jess with plenty of sun and extreme heat.. Followed by my Birthday gathering Saturday evening which started at Jackson's moved to Sunset Grill for dinner then back to Jackson's to finish the night. I had 25 people show up to help me celebrate and I truly appreciated the gifts, the food and drinks but more important, every one's time and effort for coming out to help celebrate the night with me! It was an awesome time and everyone seemed to have a blast! I did eat..a Green bean salad and dessert (pictured above) coconut sushi..yum yum!
