A Big Week-End

Congratulations to Josh for winning the Mnt. Mist 50K this weekend. He knocked it out with a time of 3:57. Awesome! Wendy Parker -Dial came in 2nd overall Women..with a 4:57. As for me I stayed here and did a 30 mile run on Saturday. A big thanks to Maureen for training with me for at least 1/2 of the 30. I kept my watch running the whole way including fuel and bathroom stops as it was a race simulation for me. I posted a 4:33 time. Pleased with that. Not much fatigue or soreness. I ran the 5.8 loop on Sunday and felt better the 2nd half of the run. I will work that out in the next few days and be back on the training plan as Black Warrior is Feb 16th. To stayed fired up I went to the new Rambo movie. My review: stay home...and I'm a Rambo Stallone fan!
