Been trying to recover, recover after last weekend. The 2 recoveries are there for a reason. My body is fatigued down to the bone. I'm cool with that! Expected it. However, I always suffer from post race depression. The race falling during Christmas week is of no help here. For the past few years I've been in Florida during this time. How I wish I was back there but the reality is I'm not. My recovery this week has been:
Sunday-4 miles on Raccoon Mtn trail
Monday-wts + 30 min spin
Tuesday-4 miles + yoga
Wednesday-5miles +wts +30min spin
Thursday-3 miles easy
Friday-(Christmas Day) 3miles easy (a.m.) + 8miles p.m.
Saturday-Probably will do 10-12 miles
This down time allows me to reflect on this past year and look at my 2010 Goals. Where I'm headed with my fitness, anything new or old I want to do? Stay posted!
