CALIFORNIA DREAMING

So far all I want to do is play! I have not really thought about this race? I know I'm ready for it but for sure no pressure. I even have a paddle board reserved for me at 2:30pm tomorrow. The Bulldog50K starts here at 6:30am means I'm done by 12, clean up, fuel then go play on the water. I also have some Latino concert I'm going to Saturday evening...that's probably when I will start to crash.

Everything is planned out in my head, my time splits, fuel consumption etc.. just got to go do it, love it, feel it! Man, I'm in my element here so this race is so unlike the others. It's like I'm on a playground here. I'll try to post something afterward..even if it's just my finish time!!

FLYING OUT!

All set for California! My last two runs were a little sluggish, but that's cool!.I've really tapered this week as far as miles go. Doing lots of stretching and using the foam roller. My flight is super early so spent Wednesday getting a thousand items done. Everything was going perfect until I look down at my watch and it's stopped at 12!!
The freaking battery is dead I guess..don't know what this means? Stop everything I'm doing?, time is running out?, hell, just maybe time for a new pimping watch. I did purchase some new aviator sunglasses today. If I knew my watch was dying I would have picked up one at the mall. So I may replace battery or take the easy way out and buy a new one.
Shooting for a sub 5hr this go around. Bulldog Mountain is a bitch doing it 2x's. Speaking of..last time I was in Malibu, espresso and surfing caused me to have the worst time!!! Imagine that..Not this go around as I'm solo, so I can do what the f--k
I want, when I want and how I want!
Back to the race..should go smooth as I've done it before, I'm not in a rush and I'll try not to blow it the first loop(15 miles) try to run a negative split..I'll post when all is done.
