This is me out on the Bull Dog trail in California. I miss that day. That feeling of just "running"..Looking forward to the ocean afterward and food and icing and coffee.:)
I'm back in Tennessee now. My legs are recovered, not so sure about my heart. Having to dig deep to get geared up for Stump Jump 50K in just a few weeks.
Today will be my first speed session and I'm sure I will feel better afterward and as this week draws to a close with a couple more good long runs in, will feel even better.
Most people love the change of season to fall weather. While I will enjoy the milder days to me it's just the end of summer and a major downer. Here in the south most people feel the need to stay inside during HOT weather which I just don't understand. Hell, for that matter I don't understand most people here in Tennessee who are so out of shape it makes me wonder why I'm here?..lol..Happy to live in a "bubble" of sorts.
