Sylvan Park

My weekly running started Tuesday this week..however I must admit that I run a route in Sylvan Park that is an armpit. It doesn't help my attitude that it rained the whole time. That neighborhood looks bad enough (think blue collar) but with it raining and gray out only makes it look that much worse. Plus the drainage really sucks. Think I was running in ankle deep water the whole freaking time..on the roads. Anyway, just reminds me how much that area sucks. Although I do like the PRODUCE PLACE NATURAL MARKET that's there. Now that my rant is over, today I had a beautiful run (cross-country course) sunny out, trails were nice and soft...just a totally different experience. Looking forward to the week as it will make it one week closer to the 50K and I'm getting stroked about it.
