Well certainly not one of my best races...but somewhat fun! I took a pretty hard spill around mile 5 that did me in on reaching my goal time of low 1:20's. I managed a 1:28 and 20Th place. Way off pace but in one piece. Just sore as ever even as I type this and it's been over 5 days since the race.
This photo was taken after I crossed the finish line. The blood is from a superficial knee wound. What hurts are the bone bruises on both legs. Probably why it takes a little longer to heal. So enough whining...I just need to recover some and now get on track for the 40 mile Strolling Jim.
