It's Almost JULY

Photo of Natalie Sims and me on Signal Mountain, day 1 of the 3 day stage race!. Natalie is getting ready for the 100mile race in July- Tahoe, Ca. The trail was beautiful as you can see the water falls in the background.

I've been just chilling since this last outing. Waiting for July 1st to come around and will start a 12 week block of training. Main GOAL: STUMP JUMP 50k in October. This should give me a great chance on having a top finish if I stay with my plan and bring awesome fitness to this race. It easy to stay fired up the first couple of weeks into training but as the weeks drag on.....well anyone who trains and races a lot knows what I'm talking about. That's why I've thrown in some other smaller races into the mix to stay pumped!! Stay tuned in!!

SEPTEMBER

I don't know if I like this month? But it's still hot outside although I can tell the days are getting shorter. Well, as long as the sun is out and it's blue skies...I will love it.

Anyway, we are back from California, 90% moved into the new place and I'm back on track with training. I took a week off from doing the Bulldog 50k and feel somewhat normal. However, I never feel really normal. I have 4 weeks until the Stump Jump 50k and hope I can get full recovery in plus another level of fitness. My training is planned out for the month and I'm excited to get back on schedule.
