I love Fridays...most peoples start of the weekend...however my weekend usually starts like on Wednesday or Thursday. So don't know really why I love Fridays so much. Its definitely not my Training on this day as most of time I feel like my body wants to shut down on Friday...I still do the training but the sessions are not super fantastic as far as times go. Maybe my mind is getting prepared for Saturdays long run or something..who knows. Anyway today I got it done...but my legs felt heavy. Could be one of three things or all three. 1. accumulation of training on super hot days 2. Lots of mileage under my legs 3. wts and cross-fit training. Doesn't matter as I feel great and looking forward to what I have scheduled in the coming months.
I'm three days into my birthday week and it's been very good so far! Looking forward to Saturday night!

New gear
I love Thursday's as it's always the start of my weekend. It has been that way since college days. However, I'm still feeling this cold virus. So I've pumped enough chemicals in my body that I could be classified a toxic site. Kind of ironic since I'm all about clean living etc..
We leave tomorrow for Alabama for the Collegiate National s (Triathlon) then on to NC for the big AT run. So that's why I'm trying everything in the book to stay well. Plus I have lots of packing to do and never enough time.
I ordered new gear and it finally came in yesterday so I get to actually start breaking it in today. That always makes me happy and pumped as new training items can bring much needed motivation.
