This is Jamie Dial on the Mt. Cheaha 50K trail. Setting a new course record in 4:32. Jamie has been instrumental in my development as an Ultra runner. I still do not consider myself one...do not know when a guy achieves that status. Guess I will have to ask Jamie...Anyway Jamie's wife, Wendi Parker-Dial won the women's overall in 5:31 as I told you I would post their times as soon as I had them.
I've been recovering and training since Black warrior 50K . More on my Fall Creek Falls run later. This Saturday is the 60K in Kentucky. I have my goals and pace down so it shouldn't be like at Black Warrior where I melted down from a 7:50 pace to a 9:12 pace by the race's end.
