HOT JUNE

Loving it...even the cicadas. Although I'm almost deaf now as last week they were at their loudest. They will probably be gone in a week or two. Some runners have complained about them but I've never had an issue with them. One or two may fly into me or land on me but they are easily brushed off and they do not bite. No big deal. Plus they are so much preferable than mosquitoes.

Stage race is about two weeks away. I'm running 22 miles tomorrow. I need to get a little distance in. Can't seem to motivate myself lately past 15 or so. I get bored.
Of course if I were someplace really cool...California or Colorado. I wouldn't feel this way. Guess I'll have to use more visualization when I run . that and feel blessed that Tn. does have some cool spots here and there.
