Last Session

Today (Sat) was my last "real" workout before Wednesday's race. I did 3 x 1 mile with 1 minute recoveries. All miles were under 6 minutes and did not feel hard or easy. So, I guess that means I'm on track. Had a training partner call out splits which was very helpful. We did this after their workout of 400's. It's always good to have people of the same mindset pushing you and helping one another. Now I just need to watch my food intake and get my head into it. I'm having a little left foot problem but believe I can survive it until after the race. I'm running the course today and doing some core training...which always calms my mind down. As sometimes I feel not fit enough or I'm too heavy body weight wise etc...I know it sounds messed up but whatever.....

Dear JP,
You either need to get your eyes checked or your housekeeper is not keeping your mirrors cleaned. You have the body of a greek god. Let's say one of those statues became damaged from too much pigeon poop over the years. Well, no worries as they could take a mold of your body and create a new one. Actually, you are better built. One word of advice, don't spend too much time outdoors around pigeons!
As for sounding messsed up, hey brush it off. It's altitude sickness from riding those BIG hills with me in the park last night. I am feeling the effects myself and have been messed up all day!
