CROSS-TRAINING

I say cross - training instead of injury. Yesterday while running (track session) I was finally hobbled by my chronic aching left foot problem. I experienced intense acute pain coming on #3 of my 1200m session. A quick trip to see Jasper at Vanderbilt Sports Medicine and Josh at The Renkens Center basically told me to stop pounding my body (stop running) So today...cross train...I did 30min elliptical..30min on the bike and a kettle bell workout...plus some ice and anti-inflammatory pills. I will stay off running on the trails or road until this weekend and then do a test. Will keep everyone posted.
