Trying to get to Cali!!!

I'm into my 3rd week of training for this California race. I hope I make it!! I'm unmotivated, tired and wanting something new. I know, not the usual upbeat self but that will come around when my body starts to feel better. I did a cross- fit workout last week where I believed I strained a deep upper body muscle. My neck, chest, arm and shoulder was killing me. Why I train with a SLEDGEHAMMER I don't know. Not gong to make me any faster on a 50K for sure. So, this week will just run, drink coffee and work neck and core! I did do the 11.2 mile loop on Sunday and rode around on my single speed this weekend. Oh, and this is my last week of easy training before I have to get it in gear, up my mileage and actually train!!
