Awesome Weather

Yea, it makes me happy. I suffer from seasonal affectional depression (SAD), so I believe winter is finally over. It's been the worst winter of my life for many reasons, seriously.

Race news: I registered for one of the oldest road ultras in the USA. The Strolling Jim 40 miler. Right here in Tennessee. I will be gathering a crew for this race. Would like a few people to run segments of this race with me and one or two to man aid as this is a low rent (old school) race. Meaning they may put out a jug or two of water out on the course. Think I may need more than that.

My Rock Creek teammate Jacklyn Greenhill, ran a 8:16 at the American River 50 miler this weekend out in California. She rocks!! So congratulations to Jacklyn!!!!

Also got an e-mail this week that the North face Endurance Challenge has added a Southeast race this year. Yea, I was planning on traveling to New York for a 50 miler so now I get to stay here , basically in my own backyard!!

Ran 21 miles Sunday. Been a while since I've done that...my legs are feeling it.
