Tomorrow at 6a.m. I'm headed out to Arizona, home to America's big ditch, usually called the Grand Canyon. If all goes according to plan , come Saturday evening I will have accomplished a Rim 2 Rim 2 Rim.
So it's Thursday afternoon and I'm still trying to plan out most all the details. For some reason I cannot find any of my winter running gear like arm warmers, Nu skins, beanie? All missing. So I'm borrowing, buying, begging items for various sources but believe I have most items I'll need.
I did decide to go with a Hydration pack. That way I'm more independent from the trail and campgrounds etc.
I will have basically everything with me and when I run out of fluids I can refill on the fly...we'll see.
Ran with the pack today. It sucks. Its hot. Runs up my shirt but I need it so will make do. Also I need new shoes but these will make one more run. Other than that, I'm ready!!!
