I talked to Seth today. He suggested a week or two recovery before we start laying it down for the Franklin Classic 10K. Recovery for me meant today I ran 2
X's and did weights. Although my distance was not very far and the weights light I'm already sore, just hope I will not be more so
tomorrow as I want to do some track work. I will also hit the trails more (50k coming soon) and I have some great new cross fit training exercises. This means I need to make a trip to Home Depot for my training tools...can't wait to test them out as it should be so freaking cool. I have been training two High School athletes (Football and Hockey) that I'm going to introduce this style of training to. I'm sure they will go home and tell their teammates that they trained under a personal trainer that was...I hope they say AWESOME.:)

Home Depot for training tools?I want details. This is one of my favorite places to browse. I could have been walking past THE equipment needed to obtain my fitness goals on Saturday afternoons and never realized it :) My friend Chris Roberts is a "personal trainer of sorts" ( this guy is cool,I must hook you up. He is going for a 2 week journey to scale Mount Kilaminjaro in December) and he and his buddies throw tires to build up strength, pull sleds of sandbags... so I sense a new trend in obtaining fitness?
