Week-Ends Rock!

Well, I tried for doubles Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Thursday and Friday were great . However, I should be more disciplined as I blew off Saturday afternoon. I really only needed 3 miles for a three day total of 40 miles. So I had to settle for 37. All of these miles are really slow, so I am not in a world of pain/hurt. I feel really solid.

A big thanks to Mark and Beth for being great hosts Friday night. The food was awesome and watching the rim to rim to rim Grand Canyon run DVD of Mark and Steve was the best. I would have loved to have been in on that but was way too injured. I would not have made it 10 feet much less 56 miles! Maybe next year!!

Ran 1 loop of the horse trails with Rhonda (Vanderbilt's women's cross country coach), she did 26 miles Saturday a.m. (just training) I have an awesome running community around me!
