Going into the last couple of weeks with some big miles. I felt it today as I crawled out of bed. As usually I wakeup refreshed. Big miles can have that affect!
Also been running doubles...one super early run and one HOT afternoon run. I can see why some people run early..it's cool and the streets are empty..but I really do not like getting up that early.
I'm getting in a 20 miler this Sunday..on the road, but it's a hilly course and aided so I'm grateful for that (Thanks Striders) During my run I'll be thinking of some of my friends who are doing the Blueridge 200 mile relay race which starts today. They should fair well as they put together a good team..can't wait to see the results.
Overall 'm feeling good, Just need to work on my confidence,by looking back on all my training and KNOW I can get "STUMPJUMP" off my list. Seriously, the last 2 years have been a disater there. Speaking of, this is 9/11 and I distinctly remember what I was doing 8 years ago on that day (training Meghan, at THE CLUB)..could'nt believe what I was seeing on the TV that day..
