MEMORIAL DAY

I'd rather be in Florida.
But I'm not. I'm here in Tennessee. It's almost JUNE 2010 and this is what I've done so far this year:

FEB Black Warrior 50k-10th
FEB Malibu Creek 50k-16th
MAR CCC 15k trail race-8th
MAR Strolling Jim 40mile-12th
MAR Scenic City trail 1/2-12th

Ran today, Memorial Day with John Thrope who is getting geared up for Marine Corp Marathon, so it's fitting given the day. We did a very easy 5.8 loop in the park. He just returned from a climbing trip in Colorado, so I got to hear some epic tales of climbing etc..

Chris raced today too, somewhere in no name town Illinois. He easily beat the field with a 32:35 for the 10k.

My next outing will be later this June at the 3 day 3 mtn stage race..covering 60 miles. Let's see if I can convince Ted to race this event. It always more fun wwhen he's around!!
